I have known all my life that I could
paint. I felt it deep down inside but I never formulated
my knowledge into a thought. It was more like feeling
that told me to look for "it".
My creativity shone through my everyday life without
my awareness. Many people suggested that I should try
to work with art. I used to think that they probably
meant well but I must admit that I found them a bit
naïve.
"Creativity is not a proper job" said the
little voice in my head. So I did what I thought was right. I studied. Some
graphic design, some economy, some computer science,
but nothing ever captured me. Sure, it was fun at the
time but it was not "it". |
I continued searching. I worked in shops
and at a Casino. I baked pizzas and cleaned at a hospital.
I worked at fairs and I travelled around Sweden selling
jewellery and clothes. I worked as a model and as a
make-up artist and a whole lot more.
One day my mother asked me if I could paint a mailbox
to my father´s birthday. I am a well brought up
girl and of course I did what my mother asked. That
day my search was over. I had found "it" and
my new life began. I started in a small scale but soon
I had retailers in whole of Sweden.
Since the year of 2000 I have had my own Gallery in
Malmoe, south of Sweden.
I love it.
